Summer is just around the corner and with that summer school! This year summer school will take places from July 9th - July 27th. It will be held from 8:45AM - 11:45AM. Attached you will find a document with more information on summer school as well as the summer school form. 

Hoops for Heart!

The PE department will be holding our annual Hoops for Heart fundraising event on Friday May 5th. It is not required that your child participate. They have the option to raise the $5 minimum donation to get them into the event or just go to normal PE class that day.

Centra’s Summer Medical Careers Camp! (Deadline Friday)

Centra offers a week-long camp for rising 7th and 8th graders interested in a career in the medical field. The application deadline is this Friday, so read the details below and follow the link to apply.

Centra’s Summer Medical Careers Camp at Virginia Baptist Hospital provides a week of mentored experience for 24 middle school students (rising seventh and eighth graders) interested in exploring the exciting world of Healthcare Careers.

Dates: Orientation is July 20, 2018: Orientation 9:00 a.m. - 11:00a.m.
Camp is July 23 – July 27, 2018 

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Students cannot be dropped off earlier than 8:00am.)
Cost: Registration fee of $30.00

​You will need to apply by Friday, April 27, 2018, in order to be considered.​ for this camp.

Information Night for 8th Graders

Brookville High School will host "Information Night" for 8th graders on March 6th from 6:30-7:30. This is an opportunity to learn about elective offerings for next year.  This event is for both parents and students and you should plan to attend the entire hour.

Attention 7th Grade Parents

This is a reminder to please contact the School Counseling office to schedule an appointment with your child's counselor as soon as possible. This meeting will take approximately 20 minutes. During this time, your child's Career and Academic Plan will be completed and you will also be given information on opportunities available to students in high school. Please call 239-9267 Ext. 4 and speak to Susan Blanks. 

Winter Dance Tonight!

PTO Winter Dance!

Mardi Gras at BMS

  • The PTO Winter Dance will be Friday, February 9th at 6:00pm.

  • There will be a DJ, games, and concessions.

  • Tickets are $5 at the door & $3 in advance.

**Important Drop Off and Pick Up Info**

  • Drop off students in the side parking lot

  • Pick up will be in the front of the building only. Parents should pull into the front parking lot in the same manner as carpool pickup and a teacher will come take your name to call for your student.

  • Students must be picked up at the following times:

    • 6th graders - 8:00

    • 7th graders - 8:30

    • 8th graders - 9:00

    • If different grade level students are carpooling please pick up at the time for the highest grade level in that group.

We have several upcoming events planned for our 8th graders in preparation for their transition to high school. On January 26th, students will tour the Campbell County Tech Center (CCTC). 

 Open House for rising Freshman and parents at Brookville High School will be March 6th from 6:30-7:30p.m.
